The gunplay taken place approximately 10:15 a.m. in a room at the Surfside 3 Motel on Cross Bay Boulevard in Howard Beach, police and resources shelp.

“Everypoint is OK, everything is fine,” said a woman that answered the phone at the motel’s front desk. She denied there had been any kind of incident, asking only, “Are you trying to find a room?”
