I buy those little bit 8 load bottles of Pepsi. Thing is though, for the past few months they're virtually constantly near-level via barely any carbonation, also as soon as freshly purchased from the save. What gives?

Some points of note:

- I have around one a day (with lots of water throughout the day, otherwise) so it's not an issue of them going bad from disuse.

You are watching: Why does pepsi go flat so fast

- I've relocated across 2 various claims in the previous couple months, and it's been favor this in both claims.

- I choose room temp Pepsi, so I don't refrigerate it.

- I live in the Southern US. I noticed some various other short articles from Southerners additionally having a comparable concern, so I figured I'd point out it.

Would love any tips for maintaining soda carbonated, or how to tell if the soda you're buying is level prior to purchasing it. Thank you!

It's strange as I haven't had actually this difficulty till the past few months. I kinda wonder if it's a sell-by date issue (as well cshed to the sell-by = less carbonation)? I'm gonna try buying packs through even more far-off Sell By Dates and refrigerating them and also view if that helps lol. If it's the weather or my area, not much I have the right to carry out tbelow.

Try refrigerating them. Also, examine your ‘sell by’ days.

yeah fridging them appears to be the go-to answer. I'll offer it a shot.

Sell By days definitely haven't passed, yet I assume the closer to the Sell By day, the much less carbonated, right? Like let's say I have actually a load that expires in March 2020 - it'd be a lot flatter than a pack that Expires in December 2020, despite not TECHNICALLY getting to the sell-by?

lol

Weird thing is, Coke offers me a headache/stomach ache in a means Pepsi doesn't. No idea why.

I always look via the bottle to watch if there are many tiny bubbles. If I don't see any, I don't buy it.

That makes sense! I tried doing that recently at the store, but on even more than one occasion, ALL the bottles were level choose that. Wild.
