For whatever before strange factor, I want an old-school laser sight to build up a .45 longslide via laser sighting from The Terminator.

You are watching: .45 longslide with laser sighting

Getting an AMT Hardballer isn't that difficult - they come up on gunbroker pretty on a regular basis.

But it turns out the laser sight was custom-produced the movie, through a 10,000 volt power supply hidden in Arnold's pocket.

I wonder if a contemporary laser could be hidden inside the hollowed-out tube of a silver pistol scope.

I wonder if Leupold will sell/give me just the tube & bell percentage of an FX-II. All I require is a blem refuse.

I'm working on it! I finally picked up a pair of rings to complement the ones from the movie. I have the gun, the scope mount, and also currently the ring (they just provided one and also reduced the rear of the mount off). I'm designing an aluminum tube to accept a laser boresighter inside. It might not be accurate, or even almost everywhere close, but I don't care. I'm trying to have a friend machine the tube.

I'd think the hardest part would be rigging the laser to come on once you touch the create. I never might figure that one out.

If you want something real, you could always go via a vintage red dot favor a Weaver Qwik Point

I have actually a weaver and also shotgun mount version, and they both feature pretty well. When tbelow is no light, the dot is white and also incredibly crisp. But I think OP is going for a replica comparable to the Hardballer in Terminator, putting on a QuickPoint would certainly defeat that.
